All registrations through Corning Youth lacrosse, Inc are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. Extenuating circumstances will be evaluate on a case by case basis.

2026 Turkey Shoot, Grades 1-2
Corning Youth Lacrosse Tournament Fee Refund Policy Corning Youth Lacrosse (CYL) understands that circumstances may arise that prevent a player from participating in a scheduled tournament. Tournament fees are used to cover team registration and other expenses associated with tournament participation. Because many of these costs are paid in advance and may be non-refundable, the following refund policy applies: Player Withdrawal: Tournament fees are non-refundable once CYL has submitted payment to the tournament organizer or otherwise committed funds on behalf of the registered player/team. Prior to that commitment, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Illness, Injury, or Family Emergency: Requests resulting from documented illness, injury, or significant family emergency may be reviewed by the CYL Board of Directors. Approval of a full or partial refund is not guaranteed and will depend on whether CYL can recover the associated tournament costs. Tournament Cancellation: If a tournament is canceled by the tournament organizer, CYL will refund any tournament fees returned to CYL. If the tournament organizer provides only a partial refund or credit, CYL will distribute the applicable refund or credit to participating families as appropriate. Weather-Related Changes or Cancellations: No refund is guaranteed for games or tournaments shortened, rescheduled, modified, or canceled due to weather, field conditions, or other circumstances outside of CYL's control. Any refund provided to CYL by the tournament organizer will be passed along to affected families as appropriate. Team Withdrawal: If CYL determines that a team cannot participate in a tournament due to insufficient player participation, coaching availability, or another organizational reason, CYL will make reasonable efforts to refund the affected families, less any non-refundable expenses already incurred. Refund Requests: All refund requests must be submitted to Corning Youth Lacrosse and include the player's name, team/division, tournament, and reason for the request. Refund decisions will be made in accordance with this policy and, when necessary, reviewed by the CYL Board of Directors. By submitting payment for a tournament, families acknowledge and agree to the Corning Youth Lacrosse Tournament Fee Refund Policy.
