Corning Youth Lacrosse Fall Ball is a fun, low-commitment offseason program designed to help players continue developing their lacrosse skills while staying active and connected with teammates. Fall Ball focuses on stick skills, fundamentals, game concepts, and small-sided play in a positive, developmental environment.

Who Should Participate?
Corning Youth Lacrosse Fall Ball is open to boys and girls in Grades 1–8 who want to continue playing and developing their lacrosse skills during the offseason. Whether your child is new to the game or has several seasons of experience, Fall Ball provides an age-appropriate environment focused on skill development, teamwork, and having fun.
Players will be grouped by age and skill level whenever possible to ensure a safe, challenging, and enjoyable experience for everyone. The program is ideal for athletes who are looking to improve their stick skills, lacrosse IQ, conditioning, and confidence while preparing for the upcoming spring season.
When
Program Duration
Corning Youth Lacrosse Fall Ball will run from early September through mid-November, providing around 10 weeks of offseason skill development.
Where
Practice Location
Fall Ball practices will be held at the discretion of the coaching staff, and will be a centrally located facility that provides a safe, high-quality playing surface for skill development, drills, and small-sided games throughout the fall season. Any changes due to weather or field availability will be communicated through Crossbar.
Practices
Players will participate in one practice each week, giving them consistent opportunities to build their skills, stay active, and prepare for the spring season without a significant time commitment. Tournament opportunities are still being finalized, and additional information will be shared as details become available.
Games
Games & Scrimmages
Fall Ball is designed primarily as a developmental program, with an emphasis on skill-building and game experience. Throughout the season, players will participate in controlled scrimmages and small-sided games during practices to reinforce fundamental skills and game concepts in a fun, competitive environment.
In addition, Corning Youth Lacrosse is exploring opportunities to participate in one or more day tournaments against neighboring youth programs. These events are still being finalized, and participation details will be shared with families as they become available.
Jerseys
Player Equipment & Uniforms
Players should wear their Spring Corning Youth Lacrosse Jersey to all Fall Ball practices, scrimmages, and any tournaments or play days. Standard lacrosse equipment is required.
If your player no longer has their Spring jersey or needs a replacement, please contact Corning Youth Lacrosse so arrangements can be made before the season begins.
Extra Costs
Program Cost & Additional Expenses
There is no cost to participate in Corning Youth Lacrosse Fall Ball. The program is offered free of charge to provide players with an opportunity to continue developing their skills during the offseason.
While weekly practices are free, families may be responsible for out-of-pocket tournament expenses if the program participates in fall tournaments or play days. These costs may include tournament entry fees, travel, and meals. Any additional costs will be communicated in advance.
