Girls Summer Box Lax League

With fast-paced gameplay, intense competition, and plenty of opportunities to showcase your skills, this season promises to be one for the books. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the sport, there's a place for you in the box. Ages
Grades reflective of 2025-2026 school year. Registration available to grades 1st - 8th
Grade Divisions
Grade 1-2, 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Grade 3-5, 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Grade 6-8, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
When
Regular season begins July 1st, running Tuesdays & Thursdays throughout the month of July.
Our final week (July 22nd & 24th) will conclude with a championship tournament for the Grade 3-5 and Grade 6-8 divisions. Seeding and brackets will be based on the team's
Where
Games will be played at the Joe Corcoran Box Field located at CPP High School.
Parents can park in the lot across from the fieldhouse on Ainse Street.
Practices
There are no practices associated with the summer box league. games only. Additionally, specific coaches will not be assigned to teams. Our amazing group of coaches and volunteers will support each game collectively ensuring player safety and development.
Games
Teams play two games per week (6 games total) throughout the regular season. Players will arrive 30 minutes prior to their game for individual skill development (passing/ catching, shooting, footwork, etc.)
The Grade 3-5 and 6-8 divisions will conclude their season with a championship tournament.
Jerseys
Each player will be provided a team shirt to be worn at all games throughout the season.

What is Box Lacrosse?
Box lacrosse and field lacrosse are very similar. However, there are a few distinct differences. First box lacrosse is played on a smaller enclosed field where teams compete 5vs5. Additionally, box lacrosse has no offsides rules, meaning everyone can go anywhere on the field. Games move quickly with 12 minute running halves but are jammed packed with opportunities resembling a mixture of hockey and basketball.
